Friday Wine Tasting 11.3.17

We’d love to see you this evening and share some delicious wines. Come on by!

MICHAEL DAVID CHARDONNAY
Handcrafted from the family’s vineyard, this Chardonnay is a fusion of style. Numerous hand pickings throughout the ripening period are used to produce three distinct Chardonnays that are later blended into a final wine just prior to bottling. The styles range from a crisp, fruit driven style fermented and aged in stainless steel, to a softer, more round French oak barrel fermented Chardonnay. The resulting combination is the perfect balance of fresh, pure Chardonnay fruit with aromas of crisp green apple, light citrus, and spiced peach.

SEAN MINOR POINT NORTH PINOT NOIR
This Oregon Pinot Noir is deep garnet in color with complex aromas of raspberry, blackberry and black pepper with a touch of leather. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with dark fruit flavors, raspberries and earthy spice notes. The wine has a bright mouth feel integrated with soft round tannins for a lengthy and complex finish.

BROADSIDE MARGARITA MERLOT
This Paso Robles Merlot presents perfectly ripe fruit leading to bright plum and black cherry aromas complemented by subtle earth, vanilla, and spice. While inviting and lush, the palate also shows the serious side of Merlot. Dry and structured, its fine tannins and fresh acidity make this a standout at the table, and for those with the patience, in the cellar as well.

T-VINE HALLOWED GROUND
This Old Vine California blend is produced as a tribute to the generations of farmers who have cared for and nurtured these vineyards. Like these vines, they have struggled and persevered, putting down deep firm roots. The nose opens with aromas of dark cranberry, baking chocolate, orange zest and a hint of cigar box. Rich blackberry and raspberry flavors coalesce with chocolate-covered cherries. This wine has good weight, with mature soft and supple tannins and a silky, lingering finish.
